For over 50 years Chippewa Landing has been the friendliest name in canoeing and camping on the Manistee River. Chippewa Landing is located 30 miles south of Traverse City, and 20 miles north of Cadillac off highway US-131 (see detailed map below). We offer canoe rentals, kayak rentals, tubing, rafts and camping.
After exiting onto business US-131 to Manton at the blinking yellow lights, you will see the blue Michigan tourist sign directing you on to East 10 mile road, and it will be just a short drive that is clearly marked to Chippewa Landing.
